HOW TO PLAY THIS SURVIVAL GAME
In Roams.io, players begin as a weak animal and have to collect green-outlined food such as berries or plankton to gain experience. Filling the XP bar allows evolution into stronger creatures with improved speed, strength, and special abilities. Animals higher on the food chain hunt smaller prey while avoiding larger predators highlighted in red. Players have to watch their surroundings because stronger rivals can appear quickly and attack without warning.
Survival also depends on managing vital resources. Water levels need to stay filled by visiting ponds or oceans, especially after sprinting. The world includes several biomes like Land, Ocean, Arctic, Jungle, and Volcano, each supporting different animal types. By adapting to these environments, hunting efficiently, and defeating rivals, players compete to reach the server’s top leaderboard position.
